Yep, that’s a bullet. Yep, it embedded itself into the recently laid roof on this home.

As I was setting up my ladder the seller told us that we didn’t need to get on the roof since he just had the roof replaced. This is why we walk on every roof.

From the ground that bullet and the resulting hole could not be seen. The bullet created the perfect slow leak situation. If left unattended the discovery of the leak would have taken place long after the damage became costly. We recommended a roofer evaluate the roof and present the client with an estimate of repairs.
